Enpower and Golden Milky Way Intelligent Equipment Forge Strategic Partnership to Scale Solid-State Battery Production

Enpower and Golden Milky Way Intelligent Equipment recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The partnership will focus on production equipment and process development for mass manufacturing of all-solid-state batteries. Through joint R&D, technology sharing, commercialization of results, talent exchange, participation in industry standards setting, and potential capital collaboration, the two companies aim to accelerate the transition of solid-state batteries from the lab to mass production and speed up their commercial adoption.

Novusilicon Launches Si/C Anode Materials Project in Ordos

Novusilicon has begun production of the annual production of 20000 tons of Si/C anode materials project in Ordos. With total investment exceeding RMB 2.2 billion and a planned construction timeline of 3–5 years, the project will reach full capacity of 20,000 tons of silicon‑based anode material upon completion. This milestone also represents the world’s first ton‑scale mass production of CVD silicon carbon anode material.

Kingwills Advanced Materials and SSTD Form Strategic Partnership for Green Building Solutions

BWI Group Takes Lead in Magnetorheological Damper Standard Development

Dec 12, BWI Group, in collaboration with the Standards Committee of the China Society of Automotive Engineers and China Merchants Vehicle Testing & Research Institute, jointly hosted a workshop in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, on the draft standard for “Technical Requirements and Bench Test Methods for Passenger Vehicle Magnetorheological Dampers.” Participants included representatives from BWI, automakers, component suppliers, research institutes, testing and certification bodies, as well as members of the drafting group. The proposed standard sets forth technical specifications for magnetorheological dampers and is intended to guide the design and development of such products for use in passenger vehicle suspension systems.

SEVB Partners with Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology Launch Joint Lab for Battery Innovation, and Presents at ‌Global Battery Alliance Annual Conference

SEVB recently entered a strategic collaboration with Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. Together with Sunwoda Electronic and Huizhou Liwei, they jointly established the "Sunwoda–Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology Joint Laboratory," focusing on systematic R&D in cutting-edge technologies for new energy batteries.

In addition, SEVB was invited to attend the 2025 Annual Conference of the Global Battery Alliance held in Brussels, Belgium. As a key player in the global new energy battery sector, the company participated in discussions on core agenda topics during the event.

LifeLabs Successfully Completes Field Testing in Antarctica

Dec. 16, LifeLabs test team led by former Chinese national mountaineering coach Sun Bing successfully completed the Antarctic field evaluation of its WarmLife® dynamic insulation technology. The team summited Mount Vinson—the highest peak in Antarctica at 4,892 meters—and completed a polar trek to the South Pole.

Throughout the extreme Antarctic conditions, WarmLife® demonstrated outstanding overall performance: the ultra-light fabric reliably withstood temperatures as low as -30°C while maintaining excellent breathability, freedom of movement, and comfort.

Baoying Gases Passes Acceptance for 15KG Solid-State Hydrogen Storage & Refueling Platform

Dec. 29, the “Solid-State Hydrogen Storage & Refueling Platform (15KG class) Technical Retrofit Project”, independently developed by Nanjing Baoya Gases Co., Ltd. under Baoying Gases Group, successfully passed the final acceptance. The platform has simultaneously achieved batch filling and shipment, marking substantial progress in overcoming key engineering bottlenecks for the large-scale storage and transportation of hydrogen energy.

Horen Group Launches First Global Smart Factory in Zhejiang

Horen’s first self-built smart factory, located in Xianju, Zhejiang, has commenced operations. Spanning 112 acres with a total investment of RMB 1 billion, the facility is designed not only to enable a significant leap in production capacity, but also to serve as a key ecosystem hub that integrates R&D, talent development, and industry-academia collaboration.
